Princess Party!
My friend Stephanie is a make-up artist www.blushpretty.com. She’s decided to share her talents with little girls by hosting “Princess Parties” that include a mini make-up and hair session. These pictures show the 1st Princess Party and it was truly a lovely time! The girls adored it and they looked just beautiful and radiantly royal. They left armed with lipsmackers, rainbow eyeshadow and a perfectly gaudy yet glitzy fake ring. Good work Steph!

Goodbye My Sweet Grandad
My hubby’s Grandfather and my grandfather both passed away yesterday. We’re very sad. They were both very sick so in some ways it’s a bit of a relief – they were suffering so much. As someone of faith I know that my grandfather is experiencing joy at this very moment. The bible says, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” I know he’s walking – maybe even leaping along streets of gold and that his new body is not chained down by disease. I’ll miss you grandad – rest in the arms of your Saviour now.. Below is a picture of my grandad(left) my son, Natey and my dad(right) When Grandad was healthier and stronger.

An Alphabet for a Nursery…
Here’s a colourful alphabet for Erin who has her nursery done in oranges and blues. I hope it brightens up baby’s world! It was a pleasure doing this for you.

For the Birds…
Okay – I seem to blog about my Jessie a lot but it’s only because at age 4 she’s hilarious and says and does the funniest things. Her latest comedic episode (yes, her life is a bit of a sitcom) happened in our front yard. She asked me if I had any bread to feed the birds. I had a few end pieces so i gave them to her. I shredded the bread so she could scatter them out on the grass. She said, “Thanks mom” and walked out the front door. About 10 minutes passed and I went outside to see what she was doing – well, there she was surrounded by little white things on the grass. Looking closer I discovered that she had neatly divided the shredded pieces of bread into small portions and ripped up paper towels to lay the bread on – like little plates. I couldn’t help but smile and think “Wow! the birdies are gonna eat in style tonight!”

Around the Town Alphabet
Here’s my latest alphabet painting. It’s done on a 22×28 wrapped canvas. It’s colourful and fun and kids will have a great time searching for all the letters of the alphabet around the town!
